On December 8, 2024, 23-year-old Günay Sena S. was shot in the chest with her husband's pistol during an argument at their home in the Gültepe neighborhood of Sarıçam, Adana. The argument began after she saw a message from another woman on her husband's phone.

Security footage shows a pistol and mobile phone on the floor beside her as her husband, 21-year-old İbrahim S., kneels over her and then lifts her toward the glass doors. He carried her outside, and she was taken to a hospital, where she died the same day. İbrahim S. told police that his wife had shot herself. Police detained him, and a court remanded him in custody after hand-swab testing.

Rabia Şen (38) was stabbed to death by her husband Serdar Şen (44), with whom she was in the process of divorce.

The incident took place at 03.30 in a house located on 263rd Street in Şahin Özbilen Neighborhood.

According to allegations, Rabia Şen, a mother of five, was stabbed in various parts of her body by her husband Serdar Şen.

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the house. Upon examination by the medical officer, the seriously injured woman was taken to Ceyhan State Hospital and could not be saved despite all interventions.

Following the examination of the prosecutor on duty, Rabia Şen's body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue.

In the investigation, it was learned that Rabia Şen, who had previously argued frequently with her husband and left the house but had recently returned after making peace with her husband Serdar Şen.

However they argued again and the incident occurred.
