Woman Attacked by Husband in a Lift
Yesterday (31st August 2018) a man was arrested for assaulting his wife 4 days beforehand. The incident took place inside a lift in the building in which he lives in Jacarípe. The attack was witnessed by their 2 young sons. After the attack, the man tried to flee the scene by jumping from the 3rd floor. He was injured + taken to the intensive care unit of a hospital, with a police escort. When police looked into the man's criminal record, they saw that he already had an open arrest warrant for manslaughter.
