Hours Long Police Standoff Complete with Dogs, SWAT Team and Militarized Vehicles Ends When Cops Realize No One Is Home Police in Pike County Indiana believed they were in a standoff with a dangerous suspect who had barricaded themselves inside their home off of State Road 57. After hours of high alert, it was eventually discovered that the suspect was not home. This local news report shows footage of the extensive police force present at the residence, and the road closures involved in the operation. So this is the kind of cutting edge policing all of our tax dollars are going towards! They must have thought that this guy was really holding firm. And do the police actually need a Dodge Ram? Police say they are aware of the suspect's identity and will keep searching. Hopefully he's actually where they think he is next time. |
