Re: Walmart Loss Prevention Worker Almost Gets Stabbed
The WalMart in the video is where my son works. HE IS NOT IN LOSS PREVENTION. He told me charges have been dropped against the LP people by the police but there will probably be consequences internally from WalMart. He hasn't heard what that is/might be. My son could tell you horror stories about a few people that work there. Lots of bullies who are cop wannabes but would never qualify for the police force. |

Re: Walmart Loss Prevention Worker Almost Gets Stabbed
I don't know how it works in other states, but here they cannot lay a hand on you (as they are not law enforcement in any capacity). Speaking of, I'm notorious for not showing my receipt at the door and they hate that. I purchased a small toolboox with my wife at about 4am one time, and was walking out when the woman at the door came to harass me about my receipt (which was already crammed in one of my pockets). I nodded to her and kept walking, told her if she wanted to see my receipt she was welcome to follow me but I wasn't up to stopping at the door and digging for it. About the time I make it outside through the 2nd set of doors she's screaming "security!! security!!" as if Navy SEALs were going to start rappelling down the sides of the building. And keep in mind, for a thief...I'm parked right in front of the store, since the parking lot was practically empty at 4am...wasn't hiding whatsoever. I tossed the toolbox in the back of the truck and continued on with my business of leaving, the entire time with this woman eyeballing me from inside the doors like I had just robbed a jewelry store. Not once did anyone come out of the store to do anything whatsoever, but unless it was a sworn officer of the law, they couldn't do shit anyway. I left and nothing ever became of it. |
