A man was the victim of an assassination attempt on Thursday (14) at Pelourinho. He walked quietly down one of the streets of the Historic Center when another man, who would be his rival, drew a gun and shot the victim again and again. The people who were nearby run away and the wounded man is on the ground waiting for help.

Even when shot, the man appears to be conscious. He was rescued by SAMU for the State General Hospital (HGE). The report did not get information on the victim's situation.

Police are investigating the motivation of the crime and have heard the woman standing next to the victim at the time of the attack.
