SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- A suspected robber and carjacker repeatedly firing out of his window at officers was taken into custody after leading police on a two-county pursuit.

"It was a volatile situation, quite honestly," an officer said. "He is firing shots at deputies.
The nerves are high and the adrenaline is pumping."
Investigators said Jason Robert Morse, 25, of Eustis robbed a Walgreens at International Parkway and Lake Mary Boulevard and then fled in a stolen vehicle.
Morse drove to another Walgreens, parked the stolen vehicle and approached another vehicle.
Maria Morel of Winter Park said she was then carjacked at the Walgreens near the back gates of Heathrow.
"There was confusion," Morel said. "I had no idea what was going on. I'm like, 'Is this guy serious?' He really had a gun.
You read about that stuff but (it doesn't happen) to us."
During the pursuit on Interstate 4, at least one of the shots fired from Morse's car hit a police squad car.
Officers eventually used stop sticks and took Morse into custody.
Portions of the road were closed during the incident Saturday.
No one was injured in the chase.
Morse was wearing a GPS ankle bracelet when he was taken into custody.
