Vallejo 5 Star Gas Station Clerk Anil Kumar Shot in the Face During Robbery

Vallejo police said a gas station clerk who was shot in the face during an attempted robbery Wednesday night May 6th is in critical but stable condition today at John Muir Medical Center.

Anil Kumar was at work at the 5 Star Gas Station at 101 Lincoln Road West, off Interstate Highway 80, when three men wearing dark clothing entered the store around 9 p.m.

One was armed with a handgun and the men demanded money, Lt. Abel Tenorio said.

Several shots were fired and Kumar was hit. The suspects then fled without taking any cash, Tenorio said.

The incident was recorded on a surveillance camera and police are investigating whether the 3 men also robbed a Domino’s Pizza at 1833 Springs Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Tenorio said. No one was injured in that robbery, police said.

I could've guessed the skin color of the robbers without even watching the video. Sickening. It's just a culture of criminals.

When you watch the news and 95% of the time when a violent shooting during a robbery shows a homeboy he is probably right in guessing the skin color. When your dreams of being a rapper or bball player fail and you can't speak very good English life starts to suck pretty hard and hard work isn't something these guys do. Not racist but aware
