The suspect is being called the Tussling Thief by Broward Sheriff's Office detectives who are asking for help in catching a man who did not want to stop until he robbed the Stop N' Shop.

In a just-released surveillance video, the man is seen entering the convenience store at 3991 NW 41st St. just after midnight on March 4.

He walks behind the counter and then begins punching the clerk, landing several right hands to the head. A second store employee briefly tries to intervene, but the robber pushes him away.

After a brief tussle, the man walks out from behind the counter and leaves the store.

Moments later, he runs back in, jumps over the counter and demands that the clerk open the cash register. The clerk complies.

The thief then grabs all the bills from the tray, checks underneath the cash drawer for money tucked away there, and then jumps back over the counter before calmly walking out.

Detectives describe the thief as a man in his 40s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He was wearing jeans and a gray T-shirt.

If I owned a convenience store I would insist that all my employees receive handgun training at my expense. When the guy came back the police wouldn't have had to do any work to find the culprit.

Great point. Guess he's referring to his race because I doubt the term would of been used for a white. Oh dear, the black male and the word "thug" have become synonymous.
