Dallas police Sergeant Clarence Wooten was on his way to help another officer early in the morning on September 9th. He was driving about 77 miles per hour.

A semi-truck driver pulled in front of him. The road was west and Wooten couldn't stop in time.

Wooten was pinned inside his wrecked patrol car beneath the semi truck. Emergency crews pulled him out and he will be okay.

He is lucky to have survived, that's crazy. I think he needs a refresher course in defensive driving though.
