Sydney Parham Set a Jeep on Fire in Harrison Township, Michigan, July 22, 2020
At about 8 a.m. on July 22, 2020, Sydney Parham poured petrol inside a parked black Jeep at an apartment complex in Harrison Township, Michigan, and ignited it. The resulting flash knocked her backward. She was later treated for minor cuts and burns. The Jeep became fully engulfed before the township fire department extinguished the blaze. The vehicle was destroyed, and no one else was nearby. Investigators identified Parham after seeing her leave her home in a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle. She was arrested with assistance from another police department and arraigned on July 24 on one count of third-degree arson, a felony. She later pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor and was sentenced to 18 months of probation. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office described Parham and the Jeep's owner as acquaintances and gave no motive for the fire. |

2020. Mi. The woman in the video was identified as Sydney Parham. Police arrested the 26-year-old during a traffic stop near her home in Fraser the Macomb County Sheriff's Office told. Reports claimed Parham caught her boyfriend cheating, which is why she torched his car.  ·  · |
