A man was arrested for attempted feminicide in Mosqueiro - PA When approached, he tried to flee and the video shows the scenes of the chase recorded by bathers. Several bathers try to stop the man. One of them even pulls his shorts until he falls into the sand. The attacker was arrested red-handed and will be charged with the crime of attempted feminicide. The woman victim of the attack was taken to a health unit and, after being discharged, was interviewed at the Mosqueiro Police Station, according to the police.

A totally different vibe than spring breakers attempting to hinder police from arresting someone. Seemed every able-bodied male on the beach was trying to tackle him - poorly, but hey, the effort was there.  |

Never heard of "feminicide" before. Web search says it is rampant in Latin America in past 2 decades. WTF? Seriously, WTF? Can't help but wonder if this is more GenZ mental fallout caused by Social Media replacing parent figures in raising the youth. Perhaps a similar phenom to the active shooter = suicide replacement outbreak in the West.  |
