A Winnebago County Sheriff's deputy was pulled over on the side of the road on Highway 41 and Winchester Road responding to a traffic crash when she became an accident victim herself.
Fortunately the deputy was in her squad car at the time, but her dashcam video caught her surprise and video of her squad and the car in front of it being struck.
After regaining some composure she called the County Dispatch to notify the Sheriff's Department her squad had been struck.
No one was injured in the crash.
