Shawn Mullarkey Hinsdale IL Arrest: June 9, 2022 Body Camera Video
Hinsdale police arrested Shawn N. Mullarkey outside her home in Hinsdale, Illinois, on June 9, 2022, while serving a warrant tied to a domestic battery allegation. Police accused Mullarkey of striking her ex-husband with her car in the earlier incident. Mullarkey arrived in a vehicle with children in the back seat and refused to get out. Police said she closed the garage door while officers were inside, resisted arrest and tried to bite an officer. She was charged with felony aggravated DUI as a third offense, felony aggravated assault of a peace officer, resisting or obstructing an officer and illegally transporting open alcohol. Additional charges were filed about a week later, including child endangerment, violating bail and another resisting count. The reported outcome of the original domestic battery charge was not disclosed. Mullarkey pleaded guilty in December 2023 to aggravated DUI, aggravated assault of a peace officer and misdemeanor resisting. Her sentencing was conditioned on completing a DuPage County court diversion program involving assessments and treatment. |

Feisty lil thing thing, ain't she? She's lucky. The last woman I saw getting arrested in a video that tried to bite a cop learned a hard lesson about the much greater upper body strength of males and the stopping-power of a full punch to the face  |
