Re: Seattle Police Release Dashcam Video Of Woodcarver's Shooting
We've already got the info - all the witnesses said the woodcarver did not respond to his commands and he didn't give him time to, a few seconds later he shot him down in cold blood. Not incapacitating shots mind you but 5 shots, he was aiming to kill. But that quote is from a movie you twat. |

Re: Seattle Police Release Dashcam Video Of Woodcarver's Shooting
Since this takes place off screen , it makes no sense to say if it was justified or not . Obviously the cop saw something to make him get out and approach this guy . That or he just wanted to kill someone , which I find hard to believe . Being from Seattle I can attest that it is a town with more than its share of crazy people . Some areas are unsafe even in broad daylight . I am surprised that more people are not shot . I think that speaks to the restraint most police officers use . |

Re: Seattle Police Release Dashcam Video Of Woodcarver's Shooting
-Guy has knife -Cop tells guy with knife to stop -Guy keeps going -Cop isn`t psychic and thus has no way to know knifeman is deaf -Cop stops man with knife through the use of provided weapon Seems legit to me. Why is everyone bitchingÉ |

Here is the video from the dashcam of the second cruiser (first backup officer). Shows how many pansies are needed to place handcuffs on a dead man. [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNENBwEW0fQ"]YouTube - Second Dashcam of Woodcarver Murdered by Seattle Police Officer Ian Birk[/nomedia] |

Obviously someones fucking blind or you're just moronic. The knife WAS locked away and was a threat to nobody. Besides it was his profession or did you conveniently not read that part too? Get some English comprehension skills. |

Re: Seattle Police Release Dashcam Video Of Woodcarver's Shooting
And being deaf in one ear makes it impossible to hear an officer screaming at you from less than 30 feet? Too many people just like to hate on the police. Maybe he should have just wounded him, but try and put yourself in his situation. You dont know what the guy holding the knife is capable of. I know I dont want to get shot by police, so I dont carry weapons around the city when I go out. Really simple logic there.
