Story:

A dash cam video from the officer who shot and killed Native American woodcarver John T. Williams was released Friday, showing Williams ambling slowly across the street in a crosswalk before the officer opens fire.

Although most of the action takes place off-screen, Williams is seen walking across the street in front of the patrol car in the video, dated Aug. 30.

The patrol car starts to pul More..l forward, then stops.

Officer Ian Burke can then be seen walking after Williams and shouting, "Hey, hey, hey! Put the knife down! Put the knife down!"

The officer walks off-screen and then five shots ring out in rapid succession, killing Williams.

Birk's badge was later pulled after a Seattle Police Department Review Board and Chief John Diaz reached a preliminary finding that Williams' shooting was not justified.

A judge ruled Thursday that the clip from officer Ian Birk's car could be released to the public after prosecutors had a chance to notify witnesses not to view the tape.

The tape's release comes after a public disclosure request from the Seattle Times.

An inquest into Williams' shooting death by Officer Ian Birk has been set to begin on Jan. 10. The facts of the case will be laid out in the open through the process.

Cold blooded murder. Apparently the guy was deaf in one ear so he didn't hear to the pigs commands, completely unprovoked.

He did have one since he was a woodcarver, but it was locked away and secure.

Then wtf was the cop talking about then? I'm not saying the cop was right because he wasn't. A knife is one thing and a gun is another. This is murder plain out. Will he do time or even be charged? Nope.

Lying? He told his superiors that the guy turned around and was looking to attack him with it. But the witnesses say a different story, we don't even hear the guy speak let alone lunge at him.

The only punishment he got was his badge taken away from him.

Yeah if he never turned around then the holes should be in his back. I don't believe the story either. Looked like the guy was minding his own business then Theres a vid of a US Marshal literally murdering a guy in the back of a club after a street fight. This shit happens all the time but I still don't hate cops. Hating cops is no different then hating minorities-stupid.
It's our fault because we allow it. The presidents police or secret service are trained for decades while our get some bullshit 6 months training then given guns to use on us. How could things go right?
