Gangsters from Liverpool are believed to have travelled to Scotland to carry out a horror machete attack on a couple over an unpaid six-figure debt.

The male victim was so badly injured he had to have his right leg amputated while his partner lost two fingers on her left hand when she was hurt as she tried to call police.

The 28-year-old mum-of-two, from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, told how she and her partner have now separated. "I can’t tell you why we were attacked. I don’t know the ins and outs of the story as he hasn’t been honest with me about what happened."

A family member of the woman said: “Even the police have said it was the worst they had ever seen. She was lucky she did not lose more than her two fingers.”

Sources claim the male victim, 28, was targeted over a massive debt owed to Liverpool criminals and had just recently been released from prison. The full details of all the weapons used in the violent attack are not known.

2 different incidents, both not far from me, guy in the bottom video thought it was a good idea to kick a father and sons door in, with another little weasel just out of prison, they then phoned the victim back up, saying next time we will do your father, the son said come round and try it, unknown to the 2 arseholes, they were waiting with a few guys this time, the one getting chopped in the back garden, the other one got away, was touch and go whether he would survive.....The other incident were the guy lost his leg was over a six figure debt, and was carried out by Liverpool lads, victims stayed in Coatbridge..

The little cnt who got away,was a bully and a liberty taker, the guy getting chopped thought it was be a good idea to go along with him to sort the father out this time, no doubt bullied into it. The guys doing the chopping were heard saying "when East end guys chop you, we do it right"...who would argue with them. The other guys days are numbered, hated all over Haghill, and Dennistoun area..

I saw the mobile phone footage, less than an hour after it happened. The cops have an easy job, the young team video every knifing,slashing, stabbing, and even mention the names who done it in most cases, my young cousin is waiting to be sentenced for attempted murder. the cops had the video of him and his 2 mates beating the guy up, in ln less than a day, all their friends were sharing it, the whole of Haghill had seen it..Thankfully, the other guy came out of his coma, and made a complete recovery...honestly you would not believe how stupid these lads are, i was given a crash course on stupidity,when he stayed with me for a few days after the incident
