Re: School Bus Aide Arrested After She Was Abusing Children with Severe Autism
Seeing as each of the school district employees in Colorado are Mandated Reporters, there were a lot of failures. Every one of the people who knew about this and did nothing should be losing their jobs, pensions and a number of years of their freedom for empowering that hideous cunt to abuse these children for at least six months.

Kiarra Jones, who is accused of abusing six special needs children while working as a bus aide for Littleton Public Schools, walked out of a Colorado courtroom Friday afternoon a free woman, for now. "I always think about it for six months, every day being a nightmare," said a parent of one of her victims. Flanked by their lawyer from Rathod Mohamedbhai, the parents of the children who were allegedly victimized by Jones were also in the courtroom and said seeing her brought up a flood of emotions. "Blood boiling. Yeah. I, I did make eye contact with her and now I just wish that I hadn't," said Jessica McBride. Her son, Andrew, is one of the victims. "We're very grateful about the additional charges that have been brought forward. It's frustrating, agonizingly frustrating to know that we need to sit and wait." Jones has now been charged with 10 additional counts for a total of nine felony assault charges and two misdemeanor child abuse charges. Parents of the victims say they hope these new charges will bring accountability. "I hate that there's no mandatory minimum for this level of felony. It's incredibly frustrating that torturing a child, six children, for months could essentially result in just probation," said Brittany Yarbrough. Her son Hunter is also one of the six victims. Parents also said have still heard nothing from Littleton Public Schools. "They have not communicated with us. They have not released, as far as we know, to the state any new policies or procedures," said Yarbrough. |

Re: School Bus Aide Arrested After She Was Abusing Children with Severe Autism
August 30, 2024. According to Littleton Public Schools, the Department of Justice has formally opened an inquiry to determine whether any violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act occurred in the case of a former school bus aide accused of hitting and slapping students with special needs. Kiarra Jones pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including third-degree assault and child abuse earlier this week. The declaration was made in a letter sent by Littleton Public Schools to parents this week. LPS stated in the letter that, "We do not know how long the inquiry will take, but we are committed to providing the DOJ any information or other support needed to complete its due diligence." One alleged incident was caught on video showing the suspect punching a 10-year-old student with autism on a school bus. At least three students said they had been hurt by the aide. The attorneys representing the families of those students released this statement regarding the DOJ inquiry, "Our clients, the parents of the three tortured and abused students intend to bring a civil rights lawsuit against LPS and TJS. These parents look forward to exposing the many deliberate failures by LPS (and TJS) that resulted in the horrific injuries suffered by these children. LPS chose not to inform the community of the DOJ investigation for weeks until forced to because of our clients' efforts. LPS has shamefully put greater effort into threatening critics rather than protecting its most vulnerable student population." Jones was hired by Littleton Public Schools in August 2023 after the district said she passed a background check and had "satisfactory reference checks." Jones' trial is scheduled for Feb. 25, 2025 in Arapahoe County Court. |

Re: School Bus Aide Arrested After She Was Abusing Children with Severe Autism
Should do the same to her, that poor child, I would not be able to stop myself setting about her badly. I tihnk if I was the driver of that bus and I witnessed that I would have to batter her all over that bus. She should get a year for each time she touched that boy. And that isnt enough. I hope she gets hurt bad in prison. Like really bad.

Re: School Bus Aide Arrested After She Was Abusing Children with Severe Autism
They call 'em "para-professionals" now because they're not even close to a professional with a mature, responsible work ethic. This woman was probably the type that would stop the bus, turn around and say to the kids, "Sorry, but I really really gotz to take a shit; be back in a minute" then steps outside for a squat next to the bus |
