Russia - Old Man Punched in Shop, Died Months Later After Being in a Coma
In Yaroslavl, the city court ruled that the actions of a 46-year-old previously repeatedly convicted man in relation to an 80-year-old pensioner who died after receiving a blow to the head from a younger opponent were self-defense.

The incident began on March 21, when a conflict broke out between the men in a supermarket on Klubnaya Street, as a result of which an elderly man fell to the floor and hit his head on the tiles. He spent several months in a coma, the injuries were incompatible with life.

CCTV cameras recorded the fight. It can be seen that the elderly man struck first, but his opponent was left without visible damage.

According to the court's verdict, the man is not guilty of the death of the pensioner. The relatives of the deceased were also denied moral compensation.

reaction was a bit over the top especially it's an old dude but he started the fight so you never know what comes next.

That guy could have went full blast on him. That was a "back off me" punch. That was a natural and controlled reaction to being struck.

That guy could have went full blast on him. That was a "back off me" punch. That was a natural and controlled reaction to being struck.
yeah but....hitting an old person is like hitting a small child or an animal. It's not right.

I agree, it's not right to hit a small child or an animal.
If an animal is trying to seriously wound me, I would kill it and go home.
The old person has been alive long enough to know better, I have met a few nasty old fuckers over the years. It's not right, just like many aspects of life.

Dude was drunk but at least he hit him back with equal force. I thought this was going to be one of those videos of an innocent old guy who gets set upon by some random violent asshole but old guy brought it upon himself by striking the first blow..
