Road Rage Incident From Highway 80 Near Auburn, CA

The two girls here in this video are being chased by some woman down highway 80 in Auburn, California. I have to say, these are the most whiny two girls I have heard in a long time.

I get they are scared, but my god, just shut the hell up and find the nearest police officer or police station.

A case of alleged road rage was caught on camera as two women say someone posing as a sheriff’s deputy tried to run them off of Interstate 80.

Passenger Delanie Strykul says she and her friend Vanessa feared for their lives on Saturday, as they feel they were targeted by a woman driving a silver truck.

Strykul says the woman cut them off twice, but then slowed down to drive alongside their car.

“When she did that, I threw up my hands and flipped her off,” she said.

It was a move Strykul says she now regrets.
“She pulls in front of us and then pulls her car horizontal and stops us,” she said.

Strykul says she called 911 and spoke to the dispatcher in the video as the woman knocked on her window, claiming to be a deputy.

The women pulled away, but the truck caught up to them again.
“She did the whole zig-zag in three lanes with her flashers on, kind of like what a police officer would do if they were trying to slow down traffic,” Strykul said.

Eventually, Strykul says, the woman hit their vehicle and tried pushing them off the road. The woman were able to get away again.

The 911 dispatcher told the women to get off the road where an officer was waiting, but the women were afraid to exit and have the truck driver follow them.

Dierdre Orozco followed the women to the waiting California Highway Patrol officers, and was arrested at the scene for hitting the women’s car. She’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

Strykul and her friend are still shaken by the incident, but say it could have turned deadly.
“We were so scared. If she had a gun it would have been way worse,” she said.

Is there any background on this? I would be interested to find out how it was resolved and what had happened prior to this bit of video.

Re: Road Rage Incident From Highway 80 Near Auburn, CA

what a crazy nutter.

A Santa Clara woman pleaded not guilty to criminal charges following a road-rage incident recorded on a cellphone last weekend.

At a an appearance before a judge, Orozco sat in court flashing wide grins and wild gestures as prosecutors went over the case.

At one point on the video, Orozco can be seen running up to the window and flashing an ID.

Investigators said she was claiming to be with law enforcement.

The badge was actually an ID card for a national chain of senior centers called Visiting Angels.

The vice president of Visiting Angels told KCRA 3 the organization has been unable to confirm if Orozco was indeed an employee at a franchise.

Orozco's bail was originally set at $25,000. She interrupted the prosecutor as he asked to raise it to $500,000.

"Let's put it at $100," Orozco said.

Orozco was just in the Placer County Jail late last week, accused of running into the back of another car twice on Cirby Way in Roseville -- and then going over to the home of an acquaintance.

The homeowners said she drove onto the front lawn and threw large rocks through the plate glass window, threatening to kill the people inside.

She was released from jail one day before her encounter with the two women on I-80 near Gold Run.

On Tuesday, she pleaded not guilty to all the crimes and insisted her case be handled promptly.

"Whatever is the most expeditious way, that's what I want to do," Orozco said.

Four people have sought restraining orders against her, in case she does post bond.

She could have been shot by the driver in the majority of states in the U.S., and deservedly so. She literally could have killed both of those women. Since they were in California, that's probably the reason they were likely not armed as that state has shitty gun control laws. Here in Louisiana, the second she exited her vehicle and approached my vehicle she would have been breathing through new holes in her chest and not been a problem for anyone else in the future. It's nice to live in a free state that allows you to protect yourself.
