The Shanxi police cracked down a kidnap case in northern China’s Datong city on May 11, 2016. The police received report on May 10 that Jiu Baoshi, Chairman of Huayue Group, was kidnapped on his way to work and a ransom of 20 million USD was asked for his life. The police tracked down two suspects in 18 hours, both of whom were shot dead during the 20 minute gun fight, with the victim rescued safe and sound. |
