It is a fallacy that if you're in the intersection on a yellow you're okay. If you are anywhere between the crosswalks when the light is red, you have run the light. The yellow means "prepare to stop", not "drive real fast".

I agree he had plenty of time to stop from the time the light was yellow to the stop line , in that case was able to stop safely he was pushing it  |
