Police Chases Parolee in Stolen Pick-up Truck, Ends in Fight in Police Cruiser
Seagoville, Texas. A parolee with nearly two dozen mugshots just added a whole new chapter to his rap sheet. Brandon Roy Boothe, 36, a self-proclaimed Peckerwood gang member, led Seagoville Police on a reckless chase in a stolen truck. After crashing the stolen vehicle, Boothe made a bold move, a doubling back to hijack a police car. A violent two-minute fight broke out inside the running cruiser, as Boothe slammed the patrol car into his own wrecked truck twice, dragging an officer who refused to let go. Despite being Tased and outnumbered, Boothe fought hard to escape. But it ended with him in cuffs and in the hospital before being hauled to Dallas County Jail. P olice say he had two handguns and ammo in the stolen truck, plus an active parole violation warrant. |
