KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A police car was involved in a collision at 53rd Street and Cleveland Avenue Sunday night.
Police said the driver of an SUV rear-ended the police cruiser.
The man stopped about a half-block away, officials said.
Police said one officer had to be extricated from his vehicle, but the injuries aren't serious.
The driver of the SUV was taken into custody.
The crash is under investigation.
