A video recorded by a resident in the North Zone of São Paulo, shows a military police officer attacking a man who had just been investigated with a slap on the head and a violent kick in the face.

The victim fell to the ground, apparently passed out after the blow. The video begin when two PM's talk to 3 men who, because of their behavior, had been approached in the street. One of the officers appears calm in the scenes, while another, more altered, speaks all the time.

At a certain point, the PM orders the investigated to leave the place. The last of the men to leave is slapped hard on the head and ordered to get on his bicycle. When he bends over to lift his bicycle, the PM kicks him square in the face, making him fall to the ground.

In the video it is possible to see the vehicle's number (M-05110), as well as the official vehicle license plate (EJT 6256), which led to an easy identification of the police unit to which the agents belong: the 5th Battalion Metropolitan of the PM, headquartered in Vila Pedrosa.

The commander of the 5th Battalion of the Metropolitan Military Police confirmed that the aggressor, as well as his partner, are from the unit and issued an official note about what happened and in relation to the measures that will be taken.
