PM Punches and Kicks the Mother of an Autistic Child
A second lieutenant of the PM of Bodoquena attacks a handcuffed woman. 4 civilians and a PM watch the scene doing nothing. Second Lieutenant André Luiz Leonel Andrea, commander of the 3rd Platoon in Bodoquena, was caught on video of security cameras punching and kicking a woman who was handcuffed. The violence took place inside the barracks of the Military Police of Bonito. The woman was handcuffed in the Rustik restaurant, at Rua Dois de Outubro, Vila Donária, in Bonito, in the interior of Mato Grosso do Sul on September 26, 2020. After being placed in the vehicle, she was taken to the PM barracks where the aggressions. According to the police report on the incident, the woman reportedly threatened the owner of the establishment. However, it appears in the same record that the woman has a 3-year-old daughter who is autistic and would be claiming to be served to bring food to the child. It was written that she would have defeated the PMs and that she would be drunk, however, in the images the aggressions come from the second lieutenant. Even with the woman handcuffed, the PM pushes her violently against the wall causing her to hit her back. The woman tries to defend herself with only her feet while being beaten with slaps and kicks by the military police, who only stops the attacks after a female police officer in the group prevents him from continuing the violence session. Men in the environment and another officer ignore the woman being beaten. One of them, propped up on the counter, doesn't even turn to see the scene. The police then, after assaulting the woman, registered in a bulletin that she was arrested for threat, damage, contempt and drunkenness. Noting the error, the PM's lieutenant asked, according to a source whose name will be preserved, that they erase the record of the attacks. Information obtained by the report shows that the battered woman is the wife of a corporal in the Corumbá military police. |
