Pirkkala School Stabbing Video: Three Girls Injured, Finland, May 20, 2025
Three schoolgirls were seriously injured when a 16-year-old pupil stabbed them at Vähäjärvi School in Pirkkala, Finland, on May 20, 2025. Emergency services received the first call at 10:42 a.m. Police arrested the boy in a nearby market square about eight minutes later. The girls' injuries were not life-threatening, and they left hospital the following day. Later reporting gave their ages as 14. Police said the boy selected the victims at random and did not know them. Before the attack, he posted a manifesto online. He recorded the attack on Snapchat, including filming himself in a school bathroom mirror beforehand. He was remanded in custody on May 23 and subsequently charged with three attempted murders. In August, the court ordered a psychiatric evaluation. |

Beat him with your nightsticks. He looks like he was failing to cooperate to me. Make sure he remembers this day. Because those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. So, you are helping him out making it the biggest remaining memory, so he doesn't forget the past. |
