Passenger Attacked in iPhone Theft Attempt on Columbus Bus, May 21, 2008
On May 21, 2008, a passenger seated near the front of a COTA bus at Karl Road and State Route 161 in Columbus was attacked by a teenager trying to take his iPhone. The passenger had been listening to the phone through headphones. Bus surveillance footage shows the attacker leaning into the passenger, who goes down between the seats, while two or three other passengers remain seated. Police appealed for information about the attacker. |
