Police broke a woman's car window and arrested her during a traffic stop after she refused orders to get out. Officers had stopped her for a traffic violation and found her license was suspended over an insurance issue. An officer printed out the relevant laws, issued citations and told her she could not drive the car because of the suspension and an order to seize its tag. She disputed the suspension and remained inside. Officers repeatedly ordered her out and warned that she could be arrested for obstruction. They then broke a window, removed her from the car and took her into custody.
