Officers Arrest Driver on Warrant After She Refuses to Exit Car
Officers arrested a woman during a traffic stop on Oct. 30, 2024, after she repeatedly refused to leave her car. A license plate check had shown her license was suspended. Officers directed passengers to stay by the car and move out of the road while they spoke with the driver. An officer then ordered her out and told her she had a warrant for violating pretrial conditions. She refused repeated commands to step out, asking officers to release their grip so she could exit herself. Officers eventually handcuffed her and placed her in a police vehicle. She was arrested on the warrant for missing court and charged with resisting arrest. Her car was to be towed.
