Argentina. An off-duty police officer shot a 17-year-old criminal and thwarted an armed robbery against a man at a gas station in the Buenos Aires province.

The police officer, who was off-duty and refueling her car, observed two armed criminals who arrived on a motorcycle and attempted to rob Leonel E.G., 34, at gunpoint.

The officer used her service weapon and shot one of the assailants, who was hit in the abdomen and left leg. The teenager was taken to Hospital, where he is currently under observation. His accomplice fled the scene on a waiting bike, leaving his crawling buddy behind.
