MDSO Deputies Fire Shots During Apartment Gun Call
On Aug. 26, 2025, MDSO deputies responded to 307 Northwest 76th Avenue after a caller reported that someone with a gun wanted to kill her wife. During the call, the caller said she heard three or four shots and did not know if anyone had been hit. Radio traffic placed the possible subject in Apartment 409 on the fourth floor. Deputies moved into position and gave commands for someone to show their hands and come out. Deputies then called out "shots fired" over the radio.
