LORAIN, Ohio - Cleveland police arrested a man accused of robbing a Walgreens in Lorain and a hotel in Sandusky on Wednesday.
Maurice Harrison, 31, of Cleveland, was arrested in the area of East 40th Street near the community college for court violations stemming from charges involving drugs and a carry and conceal weapon violation.
He was also wanted on warrants for robbery and kidnapping for his role in a robbery at a Howard Johnson Express Inn on Cleveland Road in Sandusky.
The Howard Johnson was robbed at about 5:10 a.m. Wednesday by Harrison and two other men, officers said.
Police had said the men also robbed a Walgreens in Lorain about an hour later.
Lorain police detectives said Harrison is one of three men seen in surviellence footage holding up the Walgreens store on Cooper-Foster Road.
The video shows the men terrorizing store employees and a customer. It then shows them getting away with a large amount of money.
