Man Tries to Steal Bike from Gladstone Police Station, Quickly Gets Arrested
Oregon, Gladstone police say they busted a man trying to steal a bike, right outside the police department. One of the officers inside the station noticed the man with a mask and bolt cutters on their security camera feed. So, he simply walked outside and confronted the suspect. When the suspect tried to run, the officer pinned him up against the wall and pulled out a stun gun. The suspect surrendered and was arrested without the officer using the stun gun. “When he questioned the suspect, he said ‘why are you trying to steal from the police department?’ said Sgt. Carl Bell with Gladstone police. “And the person decided not to talk to us and, you know, admit to anyany crimes at the police department.” The suspect is Adam Valle, 26. He was also arrested and accused of stealing bikes in November. |
