Man Steals Purse from Woman at McDonalds then Knocks Her Down with His Car
Officials are looking for a man they say stole a woman's purse at a McDonald's restaurant in Okeechobee. The incident happened Thursday at approximately 8:32 p.m. in the 400 block of NE Park Street. Police say the suspect entered the restaurant, approached the booth the elderly woman was sitting in from behind, reached over the backrest and grabbed her tan Coach purse. Surveillance video shows the woman chasing the man to his car. He backed out, knocking the woman to the ground. The woman was injured and is currently hospitalized. Her condition is unknown. Detectives say the suspect appears to be approximately on his late 40s or 50s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall. |

Whoever the woman was eating with (grandchild?) wasn’t too alarmed at the sight of gramma all sprawled out in the parking lot.
