The Metropolitan Police Department announced arrests in three recent robberies in the Borderstan area. On Friday, October 26, 30-year old Tarius Guy was arrested for the robbery of Bill’s Cleaners in the 1300 block of Florida Avenue NW on the morning of September 26.
Guy was charged with armed robbery and is currently being held without bond in the D.C. jail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 1. According to North Carolina Department of Public Safety records, Guy had previous robbery-related convictions in the Charlotte area in 2000 and 2003.
