An older man waiting for a bus was grabbed around the neck and robbed inside the Viaducto station of the Megabus system in Pereira, Colombia, on the night of September 22, 2025.

Security footage shows a man approaching him from behind, putting an arm around his neck and pulling him to the floor beside a railing. A woman then bends over the pair and takes the victim's briefcase and phone.

Police arrested the male suspect within 24 hours of the robbery. The woman was still being sought as of September 24, 2025.

This criminal was fully identified after being recorded by a security camera at the station, when he approached from behind an elderly adult who was waiting for a bus and savagely subdued him to take his belongings.

The captured individual will be presented before a judge of control of guarantees for the crimes of qualified and aggravated theft.

According to the authorities, he would have robberies as his “profession,” so they call on people who recognize him as the author of other criminal acts to file the corresponding complaints to advance in his judicialization.
