Man Pushed Through Elevator Door Into Shaft, Hsinchu, Taiwan, September 2025
A resident suffered a concussion after a building cleaner pushed him through an elevator door and into the shaft during an argument in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, in September 2025. The dispute began when the resident complained that recycling was not being handled properly. The cleaner grabbed the resident by the neck and drove him into the door, breaking it. The resident landed on the roof of the elevator car and was carried from the first floor to the fourth. He remained trapped for nearly two hours before rescuers reached him. Surveillance footage shows the confrontation at the elevator and the cleaner grappling with the resident's mother, whom he also struck when she intervened. The cleaner fled but was arrested about five hours later. Police discovered an outstanding warrant and took him into custody. They also referred him to prosecutors over the assault. |

Re: Man Pushed Through Elevator Door Into Shaft, Hsinchu, Taiwan, September 2025
A nasty physical altercation erupted in a Hsinchu City neighborhood after a male resident complained to a sanitation worker about unacceptable recycling practices. The sturdy sanitation worker shoved him, causing him to crash through the elevator door and fall into the shaft. He became stuck above the elevator and was subsequently sent from the first floor to the fourth, where he remained trapped for nearly two hours. Because the sanitation worker was a wanted criminal, he fled after the assault. Police located him and arrested him at 7 p.m. that same evening. From the surveillance footage of the incident, we can see that the burly man grabbed the community resident's neck and pushed him towards the elevator door with such force that a big hole was knocked in the door and the man was pushed down! When he saw someone fall into the elevator shaft, the man watched coldly, pushed open the elevator door and looked inside. The victim's mother saw this and immediately rushed forward to stop him, but was also attacked by the man. The man, who was pushed down, became stuck in the elevator shaft, unable to move. His mother was heartbroken to learn that he didn't fall onto the floor, but rather onto the top of the elevator. He was then carried from the first floor to the fourth. When rescuers arrived, they could only hear crying but couldn't find the man. The man had been trapped for nearly two hours. The incident occurred in a community in Hsinchu City. It started when a resident complained to a cleaner that recycling was not done properly, which escalated into an argument and then a physical conflict, causing the victim to suffer a brain disorder. The cleaner beat the victim and ran away. The police arrested the person five hours later and discovered that the cleaner was a wanted criminal. He was immediately sent to prison. The case was transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office for investigation on the charge of injury. Goliath cleaning in the gnoom factory? |
