The man, 34, was arrested after being caught by surveillance cameras, carrying his girlfriend's body and abandoning her on a sidewalk, around 5:30 am Tuesday (22), in Capão Redondo, in the southern zone of capital of São Paulo. He confessed to the crime, police said.

The case ended up registered as feminicide, when the victim is murdered for being a woman. According to a monitoring camera, he arrived at home around 8:50 pm on Monday (21), accompanied by a the victim, 49. Around 3:40 the following day, he left the property with his wife on his shoulders .

The accused lives in Jaime Guimarães Costa Street, the same way he left the body. He ran away then. The victim's son, a 23-year-old, was surprised by his mother's delay and triggered the Military Police, which located her body.

If it was me, I would just say I was practicing for that Belgian festival where they have races with guys carrying their wives to see who is the fastest. Just because I'm carrying her, doesn't mean she's dead.....
