Yes. It seems to be over Sikh or Pundjabi or Khalistan issues, probably politics. They have their radical factions that even commit acts of terrorism on occasion.

Correct, but most Sikh don’t wear their turban most of the time in Canada. It looks like he was attacked by other sikhs over something he said on the radio. He’s a radio host on a Pundjabi station. Apparently other local Sikh personalities were attacked in that area.

More likely nationalism. Separatist Sikhs want to create Khalistan, a country separate from India, and resort to terrorism on occasion. Turban guy is a radio show host on a local Pundjabi station and is a real estate agent. Did he say something on the radio that angered a faction of Sikhs? Is it extorsion? Only the Sikh community can explain.
