A shopkeeper has been caught on video fending off a crowbar-wielding masked man - using just a mop.
Dinesh Gorania retaliated after the would-be robber burst into the family-run convenience store in Rushden, Northamptonshire.
He was clearing up when three masked men pulled up in a car.
The footage shows one of the raiders, who was armed with a two-foot crowbar, trying to get inside but being held off by Mr Goriana.
His son Kishan, 21, is seen grabbing a hockey stick to help his father before the confrontation spills on to the street outside.
The robbers retreated to their getaway car, smashing the windows of cars belonging to Mr Dinesh and his son along the way.
Northamptonshire Police are investigating the incident, which happened at about 10pm on Friday, January 20.
