Lada Driver Shoot and Kills a Cop, Wounding Another After Routine Traffic Stop

In the video you see how a routine traffic stop turned into a shooting in Kabardino-Balkaria regio.

Police noticed a suspicious vehicle and stopped the car. The driver of the white "Lada" complied, and shook hands with the two traffic policemen.

After verification of the documents and the inspection of the car trunk police were not alarmed.

Then the driver suddenly pulled out a gun and shot at both officers. In the police car there also was one police officer, but he started to shoot only after the criminals fled the scene.

As a result, 30 yo police Lt. Zamir Gauzhaev died on the spot.

The other officer suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The police found the owner Lada and already have identified one of the attackers. Measures are taken to arrest him.

The arrest and prosecution of these criminals is a matter of time.
