Two people have been arrested in connection with a robbery caught on camera in Rongai after the withdrawal of Sh240,000 from an MPesa agent in Kasarani. Police say that a man withdrew the money which had been transferred from the robbery victim’s account during the incident. The man and the MPesa agent were arrested in Mwiki. Police are hoping the suspect will help identify the identities of the armed robbers who entered the woman’s compound and robbed her on Sunday night. The gang of five was caught on CCTV as they robbed the victim of her valuables and demanded her PINs. They used one of the PINs to transfer the money from her account to MPesa which the man in custody withdrew on Monday. |
