Japanese Girl in India Gets Harassed and Groped During Holi Celebrations
https://www.ndtv.com/delhi-news/egg-...-delhi-3849344 The Delhi Police Friday said they are investigating a video wherein a woman of foreign origin is seen being harassed by a group of men on Holi, and have also written to the Japanese embassy requesting help in establishing her identity. Police have said that, based on buildings seen in the video, the incident seems to have took place in Central Delhi's Paharganj district, but it is not yet confirmed if the incident took place there or even if the video is recent. Paharganj police station said it had not received any relevant allegations or complaints. However, should the girl be identified, police insist they will take action against the men. |

Rapes in India is quite common as woman is not safe there and if u male u get kidnapped and appear in those beheading videos

What the heck has happened to India? Certainly, the country has always had its problems - like all nations on this planet - but it seems to have gone downhill especially regarding the treatment of women. Only around 20 years ago, my (female) then pen pal traveled around the country without major problems, as did one of my high school teachers when she went there on holiday. I even remember Alanis Morissette and her female friends and relatives visiting the country several times without any incident. Beautiful country with interesting culture and great food but, as a woman I'm going to prioritize my personal safety and won't go there as long as the current situation is what it is.

She was smiling. Japanese girls do tend to be sheepish and submissive and let you walk all over them. It's their culture. Still, it was uncalled for to do that to that young woman, but what can you expect from a culture that shits on the side of the road, wipes their arse with their hands, and makes soap from cow dung?  |
