A 35 year-old-man was shot at point-blank range in broad daylight in North East Delhi’s Seelampur on Friday morning.

The victim, identified as Shahnawaz, was walking along Kabari Market road when a young man approached him from behind and shot him in the head.

Shahnawaz, who sustained injuries to the back of his head and left temple, was rushed to hospital. Hospital sources said that the victim was severely injured. From the scene, one 7.65mm bullet was recovered, but there has been no arrests.
