Sure, there are situations where it seems obvious that the suspect is guilty. Some of those situations are not what they appear. This is why I can't support mob justice, unless the mob literally saw him commit the crime. If you come upon a mob beating some guy in the street and someone says "He raped my sister", should you believe him? What if that's not even slightly true?
