Guy Walks into a Cafe and Stabs Guy Sitting on Table
U.K. CCTV footage captured the moment a man was stabbed inside a Bolton café, in what is believed to be the second of two random knife attacks occurring within minutes of each other. A customer was targeted at The Deli on Tonge Moor Road on Tuesday, 21 April. Footage shows a man entering the premises brandishing a knife. The knife-wielding man is seen launching himself at a customer seated at a table, with screams audible from members of staff. The victim subsequently rises to his feet, fighting back against his attacker and managing to disarm him. The assailant is later seen standing composed before taking a seat. It is understood this incident was the second knife attack in quick succession. It is believed a man left a nearby property armed with a knife before stabbing someone along Tonge Moor Road, though that victim's wound is understood to have been superficial. Shortly afterwards, a man entered The Deli and set upon the customer visible in the footage. That victim's injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed on Wednesday, 22 April, that a man in his 50s had been arrested on suspicion of assault. Police are treating the incidents as connected and relating to mental health concerns. |
