Yep, looked like he knew he was dragging one, and in a brilliant Latino engineering move, decided to stop and back up to try to free the body. It worked...

I wonder if they didn't pay and jumped out, or actually robbed the guy at knife / gunpoint.

Kurt "panzer" Meyer, a highly decorated SS panzer officer in WW2 on the wrong (Axis) side, always said the main weapon on an armored fighting vehicle was the engine, guess it applies to taxis too...
