Peru. Two suspects on a motorcycle entered a commercial garage, reportedly searching for someone. One suspect walked toward the establishment's office. The on-duty security guard immediately opened fire to stop him. Over 10 gunshots were exchanged during the confrontation.

The main intruder was wounded by the gunfire. Security footage captured him crawling back to his accomplice's motorcycle. Both suspects managed to flee the scene to an unknown destination.

Due to the nature of the targeted entry into the garage office, investigators are looking into whether the incident was a targeted extortion attempt or a standard armed robbery.

Investigators are checking emergency admissions across Lima hospitals, but no formal identification or arrest have been made yet.

It looks like the guys lower leg folded over a few inches above his ankle and below the knee.

I wonder if hospitals over there are the same as they are here. All gunshot wounds are cataloged and reported to law enforcement.
