Police released video of persons they're trying to identify in connection with an Oxford Circle home invasion earlier this month.

On March 18 at 7:02 p.m., a couple parked behind their residence on the 1400 block of McKinley Street heard someone yell "don't move or I'll shoot you." Police said six of seven males -- one of them holding a gun -- then forced the couple inside and demanded money.

The gunman hit one of the victims on the head with the weapon repeatedly, while the other victim gave the robbers money and jewelry.

The males then ran to the rear driveway and east towards Large Street with approximately $30,000 in cash, jewelry and the victim's handgun.

Police said most of the robbers were described only as black males wearing blue or black hoodies and holding rags over their faces, while one of them was wearing a white hoodie.

That's very sound reason to always be aware of your surroundings and carry a means of protection.

If the man had been able to shoot the first scumbag, I bet the rest would have scattered like the cockroaches they are.

I would love to show this vid to people that argue that it is the job of the police to fight crime and there is no need to carry firearms for citizens.

My wife and I both conceal carry almost daily, and mainly in the car, specifically for these situations.

People love to pretend that this will never ever happen to them. And for those of us that perpare ourselves, we're made out to be the dangerous ones haha
