Four armed men opened fire outside a barber shop on Rua Humaitá in the Socialista neighborhood of eastern Porto Velho, Brazil, on September 30, 2022, wounding five men. One of the attackers also fired at a condominium across the street before the group fled.

Four of the wounded men were taken by ambulance to a hospital. The fifth had a bullet graze and remained at the scene. The attackers used a small hatchback that had been stolen shortly before the shooting. The car was later found abandoned in another part of the city. No arrests were reported, and no motive was given.
